Hi, my name is Gaurav Sharma, and I'm part of this wonderful family for the last two and a half years.

My role as a Quant Researcher revolves around understanding data and the market.

The thing I like the most about our culture is a big no to hierarchy and cubicles. There aren't any four walls surrounding you that separate you from the ongoing discussions.

We value passive learning and osmosis a lot.

I don't require you to knock every time whenever you need anyone. All my mates are just a shout away.

At Mathisys, we are a bunch of curious minds, always working on challenging and exciting projects.

I work as an infrastructure developer here, and my day-to-day work involves brainstorming new ideas, identifying bottlenecks, and writing efficient code.

Coming to Checkpoint, the system is so versatile that it can deal with millions of messages in just a few seconds and can be lightning-fast in reacting to opportunities.

Obviously, to optimize such a system, we have to dive deep into core CS concepts, and that's what actually makes it even more exciting.

Most of us chose this field because we believe we are good at it, and at the end of the day, our work at Mathisys is very satisfying. I mean, really, if you can do what you do best and be happy, you're further in life than most people, and that's what I get from Axcess.

Hi, I have been part of this Mathisys family for the last six months now.

Daily work at Mathisys involves ideation with your team members to identify opportunities in the markets. So you design hypotheses and backtest those.

It also involves working with the infra team to continuously improve the infrastructure to execute those opportunities.

We at Mathisys are a group of people who love challenges. I've been with Mathisys for four years now, and from the beginning I have been equipped with great mentors who have a very deep understanding of markets. They helped me onboard quickly and get a different understanding of markets.

Our day-to-day work involves research in all the core disciplines of computer science, like operating systems, compilers, networks, computer architecture, and [inaudible] algorithms.

To put it in a single line, our main work involves critically analyzing a problem and deriving the result.

So, coming to the office at the start of the day, we try to rectify the issues that we faced the previous day and try to come up with solutions so that those issues don't occur again.

Then we proceed to discuss these particular issues with other people from different teams working on different regions, so we can get a better idea of how to tackle these issues.

There is a lot of brainstorming going on to keep up with the fast-paced nature of the markets.
